He is a LEGEND. His voice has touched millions of people all over the world. I started reading about him after his demise recently and last few days listening to many songs of him. He is a versatile singer. Though, he has not formally trained in carnatic music, his carnatic songs stand apart. For, people who have listened to the songs in the movie Shankarabaranam , they know it. When he sings carnatic songs , there is divinity in his voice . When he sings romantic songs , his voice is romantic. Whatever be the human emotions , happiness, joy, ecstasy, sorrow , he can bring any human emotion through his voice.
